How am I doing today?
Classroom management is a huge part on how productive you are as a teacher. In my time observing, I used a clip chart in a lot of my classes. When a behavior happened that was not wanted, they moved their clip down, however, they had the chance to change their behavior and move back up to the original starting position and even pass it! I liked using this method in the lower elementary grades because they took it to heart most of the time and even strove to be better. In my associate teaching classroom, we had a flip chart. It worked along the same lines as a clip chart, however, originally when I was there they didn't have the chance to act better. What I did was I added a "Great job" card to the system to give out when students deserved them.

Classroom Management Plan
This is a classroom management plan that I created and put some components into use throughout my college teaching career. This plan is specifically for first grade, but different parts of it can be used at any grade level.

Bulletin Boards
Through my work study at Adrian College I had the opportunity to create bulletin boards that hung in the Teacher Education Department. These bulletin boards highlighted the Track and Explore Program and different information that will help those on the teacher education track.
